Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

ABA Therapy

ABA Therapy is an evidence-based treatment for Autism. At Strive Center, we focus on early childhood treatment and we prepare children to attend school. Treatment planning is a collaborative process with families and treatment decisions are based on each child’s response to intervention.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) oversees each child’s treatment planning. At Strive Center, our BCBAs are present in the classroom daily, so they get to know your child well and can provide guidance and feedback to our Registered Behavior Technicians regularly.

Registered Behavior Technicians

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) are uniquely trained to implement ABA interventions. At Strive Center, we require each new employee to complete the training and examination required to become an RBT, in addition to our intensive two week in house training program.

What makes Strive Center unique?

  • BCBA in the classroom daily with your child, overseeing your child’s therapists

  • Your child’s therapists are required to become RBTs

  • Daily schedule that mimics a preschool classroom to prep children for their school experience

  • Organized group activities are scheduled throughout your child’s day for opportunities to interact with peers and to learn how to behave in a school setting

  • Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy services are available onsite through collaboration with Leigh Harter Speech Services

  • Outdoor playgrounds at both locations allow for opportunities for fresh air and more peer interactions

  • Indoor motor rooms in both locations allow opportunities for gross motor movement and essential sensory activities for children daily

  • BCBAs with over 30 years’ combined experience

  • Center based therapy allows families to separate therapy and family time and helps to prepare your child for school readiness
